Collection

We offer a prompt collection of confidential waste, so instead of leaving client and company records in the office overnight, our team can arrange to dispose of them on a regular, ad-hoc or one-off basis – regardless of whether you have a couple of sacks to get rid of or 50!

As a registered waste carrier (registration no. CBDU 163010), we’ll issue a waste transfer note, as required by the Environment Agency, when we collect confidential waste from your site.

Storage

With confidential waste disposal, we make sure that all documents are stored securely in metal cages until they’re shredded on-site, according to British industry standards BS EN 15713.

Sacks and other items to be shredded are very rarely held at our secure site for more than 5 days, shredding takes place at our site on a Friday so what we collect that week before shredding commences is securely destroyed by the end of that day.

We list all items as they come off our van and reconcile to the signed transfer notes we issue at point of collection. Then each cage is overseen by staff as they are shredded.

If you’d like us to destroy documents already in storage at our secure facility, we can only do so on written request. Alternatively, when you put new documents into storage with us, you can set destruction dates and we’ll issue a reminder as that date approaches – this way you can decide whether it remains in storage, you retrieve it or we shred it.

Disposal

Once your documents have been shredded, we’ll provide a certificate of secure destruction to put your mind at ease that they have been completely destroyed.
